Scott Brodie is a native Southern Californian who has been involved in the local music and theatre community for most of his life. Scott started singing in church at a very young age and continued his love of music studying at California Lutheran University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance.  Scott has appeared as a soloist in a variety of concerts ranging from musical theatre to classical and opera. He also has appeared in many musical theatre productions including South PacificWest Side StoryJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamcoatSound of Music, the premier of The Gentleman Cole and The New Utah, where he can be heard on the cast recording.

Scott feels very fortunate to be one of the founding members of Areté and enjoys singing with such a talented and diverse group of artists. Scott recently returned to CLU where he completed his MBA.  When he is not performing, Scott enjoys playing ice hockey and spending time with his wife Roberta and their 10-year-old son Alex.
