Nolan Monsibay, a Southern California native, graduated from California Lutheran University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education. He has had the privilege of working with esteemed conductors such as Morten Lauridsen, John Adams, and Grant Gershon. He has been a member of the CLU Choral Ensemble and the Los Robles Master Chorale and premiered choral works at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. In addition to his choral experience, he plays several instruments including piano, guitar, and ukulele and has a deep passion for jazz. Nolan has also been a guest conductor for the CLU Orchestra and participated in several productions with the CLU Theatre Department, including Moritz in Spring Awakening. Nolan looks forward to his first season with the Areté Vocal Ensemble.
