Megan McDonald is classically trained in chorale music and opera. She is currently earning her Bachelor’s of Music degree at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. Through the years she has sung with The Los Robles Master Chorale, The Los Angeles Master Chorale, New West Symphony, Simón Bolívar Orchestra, and various university choirs and local organizations. She has been a soloist throughout Ventura County for many years in addition to being featured at Mozart’s 250thAnniversary Festival in Salzburg and Vienna, Austria in 2006 with the Los Robles Children’s Choir. Not only was she a member of the children’s choir for ten years, but she became the director’s music assistant in 2012. Ms McDonald is also very passionate about opera. Her opera experience is just beginning, varying from solo works of Mozart operas, to being a part of the Daniel Catan Opera Company in 2008 and the El Dorado Opera Company in 2012. Megan has sung in over twenty different languages and has had the opportunity to sing worldwide in locations such as Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, Mainz, Rome, Venice, Capri, Florence, Ireland, Scotland, Aruba, also in Carnegie Hall, New York, The Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles.
